The goal of this course is to introduce new employees or employees new to a financial responsibility to the University’s financial operations. Main topics include an introduction to UVA’s mission and Code of Ethics, a discussion about the University’s organization and relevant departments, and an overview of the financial operations at UVA encompassing funding sources and the Integrated System.  The course also incorporates discussion of how to find the help you need and ways to network with other administrative professionals around Grounds.

This course is a requirement to gain access to Integrated System finance responsibilities, but is open to all University staff and faculty.
